WSOP Event #4 - $1500 No Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

This event saw deep runs from a number of significant pros. Jonathan Duhamel, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Grant Hinkle were among those who cashed, but they fell short of the final table. The final six players contained former Main Event winner Joe Cada, who was enjoying one of the best runs of his career since that big win.

Cada drifted into fourth place, but was dealt a blow from the deck when all-in and flopped dead with A 7 against A 9 on a board of K 2 8.

The heads-up battle came down to Jean Beauprez and the unfortunately-named Manig Loeser. Loeser was not born a winner and did not enjoy much luck in this confrontation. In the final hand (with near-even stacks), the players were all-in with the following hands:

Loeser: A K
Beauprez: A 8

An 8 spiked on the flop to break the heart of Loeser and gift $324,764 to the jubilant Beauprez.
