Viktor Blom Loses $1.4M in 1 Week

Throughout the recent World Series of Poker, the enigmatic Viktor 'isildur1' Blom was conspicuous by his absence. Far from lying dormant this summer, the Swedish high stakes phenomenon has been very active on Full Tilt Poker.

With Blom on a crest of a wave after winning $5.2M online during 2013, this figure suffered a major dent during the past week. Blom lost $1.4M during 6,834 hands - mostly No Limit Hold 'Em.

Blom's chief enemy was Kyle ''cottonseed1" Hendon, who took almost $270,000 from the downtrodden Swede. "Tight-Man1" was another to enjoy a profitable time on the virtual felt, with over $1.2M in total profit.

In spite of Blom's heavy losses this August, it would be foolish to doubt his ability to bounce back. Blom once lost over $4M in a series of sessions against Brian Townsend, but has rebounded to become profitable again.
